Moondrop Harmon XTM-3DD IEM, Triple Dynamic Driver design is audacious! The XTM series represents a groundbreaking approach to IEM frequency crossover design. The acoustic structure inside the Harmon is a complicated design and unusual to build, based around an innovative four-cavity tuning system housed in a remarkably compact size, the result of imaginative acoustic engineering.
Triple Dynamic Drivers
Moondrop partnered with 3D printing specialists HEYGEARS to have the Harmon housing built on cutting edge machines with the latest technology and processes.
The distortion of high-performance dynamic drivers with innovative designs and new diaphragm materials is significantly lower than that of balanced armature and mini-sized electrostatic drivers.
The Harmon XTM-3DD mid-treble driver employs a glass-dome composite flexible-suspension diaphragm, created using a specialized glass molding process. This diaphragm, which is only a micron thick, exhibits significantly higher rigidity and improved damping characteristics compared to metal diaphragms. As a result, it delivers crystal-clear sound with exceptional treble extension and rich high-frequency detail.
The composite flexible suspension also minimizes non-linear distortion while enhancing mid-frequency performance, leading to dynamic and impactful sound.
The new composite mid-treble dynamic driver uses two neodymium magnets and three magnetic conductors and is equipped with an OFC lightweight voice coil to form a high-efficiency, low-distortion transducer system, taking full advantage of the new diaphragm and delivering strong dynamics.
Dual 10mm Bass Drivers
The bass is produced by dual 10mm dynamic drivers, following the classic horizontally-opposed double dynamic driver alignment used by MOONDROP. This design improves magnetic circuit efficiency, enhances dynamic range, and reduces nonlinear distortion.
Each dynamic driver includes an N52 internal magnetic circuit, an CCAW lightweight voice coil, and a flexible suspension composite diaphragm, ensuring high-quality and low-distortion bass.
Moondrop Harmon XTM includes Moondrop's high-quality braided cable, including swappable ends with 3.5mm SE & 4.4mm BAL plugs included.
